Daybreak Litters

Daybreak Kennel considers it their responsibility to:
*

Make every effort to preserve and advance the breed through a carefully planned breeding program, and produce healthy dogs with sound temperaments that will enrich the lives they touch;
* Require that all puppy buyers obtain hips, eyes and heart health certifications for their puppy, be it breeding stock or not, when it is the appropriate age;
* Consider first and foremost the best interest and welfare of the puppy when deciding upon a placement;
* Place puppies into homes where they will be raised with proper care, socialization, and training, and live as members of their families;
* Place puppies into homes where the puppies' personalities match the owners' expectations and desires;
* Maintain contact with the owners of Daybreak puppies over the lifetime of the puppies, in order to gain health-related and other feedback on Daybreak's breeding results, and utilize such information in future breeding considerations;
* Promote the field capabilities of the breed - the purpose for which the Curly Coated Retriever was developed.
