In the ring: Sacramento, CA - Mattie (Daybreak All That Matters) & Rigby (SR Ch Daybreak Eleanor Rigby JH, WCX, CD) represented Daybreak at the 2005 Curly Coated Retriever National Specialty, & had a wonderful week! Mattie took Best of Opposite Sex to Best Puppy in Sweeps. She went on to take Reserve Winner's Bitch in the Specialty show. To top off the day, she and half-sister Rigby took 1st place in the Brace class. |
Rigby made the cut for Best of Breed at the Specialty and took Best of Opposite to Best of Breed at the following Supported Entry show. Apple Valley, MN - Mattie had a wonderful day, taking Best of Winners for a crossover 5-point major! What a thrill for only her third show. Monty (Daybreak Sergeant Pepper) took Reserve Winner's Dog. |
In the field: Sacramento, CA - At the Specialty field test, Rigby confirmed her WCX by passing with ease. To top off the week, Rigby & Mattie both enjoyed flushing chukars at an upland fun day. Rigby was so eager, she snatched a bird out of the air before it could get up to gunning range. Puppy Mattie showed good scenting skills in locating her birds and getting them into the air. |
